Our Kid's Sports Conditioning Classes are for kid's between the ages on 10 and 17. Our program is specifically designed to increase explosive power and is vital to any serious athlete playing football, wrestling or any other sport where explosive power is essential.
It is a myth that pre-adolescent children can not benefit from weight training. This is so important I will repeat: IT IS A MYTH THAT PRE-ADOLESCENT CHILDREN CAN NOT BENEFIT FROM WEIGHT TRAINING.
We have seen incredible results with children in the 10-12 year old age bracket. Their strength has nearly tripled in only a 4 month time frame.
Safety first!
The most important thing however is the safety of the children. Our head instructor Dan Dixon watches the children like a hawk to ensure everyone is lifting in a safe and controlled manner. Only when the proper lifting techniques are mastered will the student be allowed to use slightly heavier weights. Dan Dixon has over 25 years of weight training experience and is a certified personal trainer.
